About this work

Jabot of natural-colored needle lace: Venetian rose lace. On a very open needlepoint ground, which is full of wheels, stands a symmetrical decoration on either side of a slender candelabra motif of various palm leaves, consisting of two heart-shaped, turned scrolls standing one above the other. These are richly decorated with short and long branches to which, among other things, tongued exotic flowers and feather-shaped leaves and fine buds, richly decorated with roses, bows and picots.
