About this work

Strip of natural-coloured needle lace, Venetian relief lace. Pattern with asymmetrical acanthus leaves in S- and C-scrolls that run out into palmette flowers. Irregular bar ground with picots. The upper edge is straight with inside a zigzag line of picoted bars. At the underside a scalloped edge.
