About this work

Jabot of natural-colored Venetian needle lace "gros point". On a spile-less, very open ground stands a symmetrical decoration, with in the center a very large and a small palmette flower one above the other. Scroll vines hide beneath strung leaves and several palmette flowers. In the corners the vines come forward slightly. The leaves are split into two scrolls as in arabesques and are richly lobed. The petals show a "house in house" inner design. Straight edge of very small lobes.
