About this work

Doily of natural-colored needle lace: Venetian relief lace. Square model with a four-sided, hollow scalloped linen center. In the center of the linen a lace diamond is set. Running around the linen is a border built up from an inner frame with broken meanders. The corner motif is the same for each corner and consists of a drop-shaped cartouche with a palmette inside.
