Japanese border strip of bobbin lace with ferns

Strip of a Japanese kimono sleeve in black bobbin lace: Chantilly lace. On an empty mesh ground stands a closed border with scallops, filled with a garland of flowers and leaves. At the intersections stands a small scallop with a hanging rose, above which rises a pointed bouquet of four large fern leaves and a flower branch reaching to the upper edge. A horizontal ivy vine with hanging twigs runs here, while on the field above the large scallop of this ivy vine hangs a large bouquet, including a tulip.
