Japanese Strip of Bobbin Lace with Ferns

Japanese strip of black bobbin lace: Chantilly lace. On an empty mesh ground stands a closed border with scallops, filled with a garland of flowers and leaves. At the intersections stands a small scallop with a hanging rose, above which a pointed bouquet rises of four large fern leaves and a flower branch, reaching to the upper edge. Here runs a horizontal ivy vine with hanging twigs, while on the field above the large scallop of this ivy vine hangs a large bouquet, including a tulip.
