Strip mixed lace with broad spiral vine

Strip of natural-colored mixed lace: Milanese lace (bobbin lace) with a needle lace ground. On a mesh ground (needle lace) stands a cutwork pattern consisting of broad curling stems with exotic flowers. The contours of the flowers and stems consist of cutwork ribbons. Within the contours different decorative grounds are applied. A cutwork bow edge serves as a finish along the outer sides, with the exception of one short side which is finished with a straight cutwork band.
