About this work

Strip of natural-colored needle lace: Venetian relief lace. Irregular spool ground. The thick relief is mainly worked smooth. The pattern is running and small of repeat. On obliquely rising, curved stems grow palm-shaped, star-shaped flowers and feathered leaves. Under the top volute is a four-leaf clover enclosed.
