About this work

Jabot of natural-colored Venetian needle lace "gros point". Very open ground of bars decorated with little wheels. Broad wavy scroll vines extend from symmetrical C-scrolls in the center, which swell and are provided with openings to allow crossing vines to pass through. In the center, at the nodes and at the tops stand numerous palmette flowers in lobed forms, which are repeated only in the two symmetrical halves.
