About this work

Strip of natural-coloured needle lace: Venetian relief lace. Composed of two strips sewn together with a different pattern. The left part consists of a pattern with elongated vines with flowers, on an open ground with picoted spangles. The right part consists of a finer and more closed pattern of flowers on a spangle ground with wheel picots. This part of the strip has the shape of a cap flap with picot edge.
