About this work

Running pattern of cut-out leaves above a rose and a trefoil, forming the sharply toothed outer edge. Cross-shaped spindles with a knot (ground of long X-shaped spindles with a spindle). The filling consists of buttonhole stitches and a net ground. German lace: 'Carlsbader Points'.
