About this work
Silver foot. Baluster-shaped, hollow stem with two discs. High, funnel-shaped bowl. On the bowl, under garlands of fruit and birds, a genre scene is engraved featuring a peasant and peasantess dancing to the music of a bagpiper and a courting couple. Below the scene a tulip and a rose between three festoons.
