About this work

Earthenware dish, glazed with lead glaze on the reverse and tin glaze on the front, decorated with a representation of a lion in colors and signed CL 1582. According to the seller, excavated in Hoorn. Possibly Haarlem work from the workshop of Cornelis Lubeertsz. The dish is highly fragmented.
