About this work

Oak press, on a stand with vase feet supporting fluted pilasters. The stand with drawer has rails and a molded cornice, decorated with pierced leaf scrolls and volute-shaped supports at the bottom. The fluted scaffold posts stand on a pedestal with drawer, decorated with leaf scrolls, and are crowned with twisted vases. The spindle ends in a pear-shaped tenon, through which the screw passes, and in a decorated support. The press has six blades.
