About this work
The oak linen press consists of a table-shaped stand with a drawer on baluster feet without cross-connection. Loose on this stand, within a rebate, lies the actual press, which is built up from a solid base with trestle legs and a profiled trestle beam, in which a walnut spindle is fixed. With a copper crank, the top of the press can be screwed up. The press has six loose sheets.
