Fragment of a dish with a bird on a rock

Fragment of a saucer of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue. The fragment has on the flat a scalloped compartment with a bird on a rock in a water landscape with rocks. Around the compartment cartouches with alternating a scale motif and a flower vine (lotus) cut out. The wall is alternately divided into wide and narrow compartments. The wide compartments with a flower branch, vine or symbols of luck; the narrow compartments with a bow and scale motif. Kraak porcelain.
