Travel case with picnic set bearing the monogram of King George V

The shape of the green leather case is "wedge shaped". On the front the initials of King George V. The case is lined with red leather, in gold letters the crowned inscription: Edwards and Sons, 161 & 169 Regent street London, Registered no 541104/5, English patent 18693/1909. The outer top of the lid is covered with an iron plate that functions as a footstool. Contents: thermos jug, rectangular sandwich box with handle, rectangular box with handle, two glass flacons with chrome screw caps, two teaspoons, two forks, two knives, two cylindrical boxes, one with a porcelain inner bowl, all of chrome with crowned initials of King George V (1865-1936); two white porcelain cups and one saucer, two rectangular plates, two linen napkins with text Duke of York travelling.
