About this work

A mirror is set in the lid. In front of it a leather writing case. The lining of the case is red leather. The lock has a key. The case is surrounded by a leather case. Contents: two rectangular flacons with silver screw caps and stoppers, two round flacons with silver lids, a small flacon with a silver lid and leather holder, a glass, a clothes brush, a hairbrush, two elongated flacons, a nail brush marked Racine Rue du Bac 42, comb, (toothbrush and nail brush), marked Aucoc Aine. Tray: pocket knife, razor, awl, two nail sets (all with bone handles), scissors marked Aucoc, silver thimble, silver sewing needle, napkin ring, shoe hook.
