An inscription in the rim of the case: Aucoc Aine a Paris. On the lid a crowned alliance coat of arms of Count Henri Bonneval de Juvigny and Marie de Cosse-Brissac with an eagle on either side. Two copper handles on the side. No key. A mirror with a wooden frame and copper stand is set in the lid. The case is lined with bordeaux-red leather and velvet. Contents: one tall round, two rectangular flacons with screw caps and stopper, a square flacon with screw cap and stop, a glass in a leather holder with a chocolate beater. A curling tong, a brush in a leather case, a small brush marked Aucoc Paris, a leather jewelry case. A tray with two small round and one rectangular, a toothbrush flacon, a small flacon, an inkwell and sand shaker; all flacons with gilded lids with crowned monogram BB with 9 pearls, a tortoiseshell cachet, a pincushion.
