About this work

On the lid a copper alliance coat of arms with the text Autant et Plus. The right part belongs to the Riquet de Caraman family. The case is engraved in the rim: Berthet & Peret, Rue de Montmorency 13 Paris. No key. The case has two copper handles on the side. A mirror set in mahogany wood and copper stand and hook is in the lid. The case is lined with blue leather.
