About this work
Stoneware jug on high foot with cylindrical body, round shoulder and narrow neck with pinched spout. Profiles on the neck, body and foot. Covered with a brown engobe. On the belly in relief a printed and applied band with arches. Under each arch an elector with his respective coat of arms is depicted, with his title in the arch. In the rightmost compartment the date '1602'. The lower part of the belly slopes obliquely to the foot and has incised compartments with stamped floral scrolls in a diamond. On the shoulder incised arches with rosettes. The front of the neck with a mask. Raeren.
