About this work

Stoneware jug on a high foot with a globular body and wide, ribbed neck. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Profiles on the foot. Covered with a brown engobe. On the belly in relief three printed and applied medallions. The central medallion with a Roman emperor in a landscape and richly decorated border. The other two medallions with a coat of arms and illegible border inscription with date (1586?). Raeren.
