Tankard with a flower among foliate scrolls

Beer mug of stoneware with a cylindrical body and C-shaped handle. Partially covered with cobalt blue. The entire exterior with lightly incised vertical lines. On the front, an incised and blue-filled decoration of a flower surrounded by leafy garlands. Blue dots on the rim and foot. Attached to the handle, a tin mount with lid and the inscription 'No. 5 I[F?].H.I 1758'. On the inside, some scratched letters and 'I[F?]aecksch'. Lahntal, Westerwald.
