About this work
Stoneware jug on a ring foot with a hexagonal belly and a wide, long neck. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Decorated in cobalt blue with horizontal incised lines and stamped medallions. On the neck, a band with an impressed zigzag line (knibis). A tin mount with a lid is attached to the handle. The letters 'P V E' are engraved in the lid. Westerwald.
