Jug with flowers, medallion and lions

Stoneware jug on a ring stand with a globular body and narrow neck. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Profiles on the neck. Partially covered in cobalt blue. On the shoulder, an incised line with above it a band of stamped flowers against a blue background. The body features three impressed and applied medallions in relief, the central one flanked by crowned lions. A mount with a lid is attached to the handle. On the inside of the lid, a stamped mark with the coat of arms of Amsterdam. Westerwald.
