About this work
Jug of stoneware on a high foot with an egg-shaped body and a tapering neck. The C-shaped ear is attached to the neck and shoulder. A wide band with incised lines on the neck, some on the foot. Partially covered with cobalt blue. On the belly three times a printed and applied medallion with the coat of arms of Amsterdam in relief. A tin mount with a lid is attached to the ear. On the inside a rose with the letters 'ALB' is stamped. Westerwald.
