Flat square/round basket of split willow, fine basketry; very finely woven with a geometric diamond pattern, lid originally attached to two hinges, closable with a loop over a small arch; between the hinges a small ring may originally have been attached to hang the basket; lid and bottom embroidered with a tulip motif in round and green silk.
