About this work
Daybed of walnut wood with smooth rails and square, tapering legs with profiling at the top; on the house two 'bed bolts' (not working); at the headboard a slanted support is mounted, and at the footboard an upright support is mounted which is inserted into the rails by means of two pins. In the frame lies a loose framework, consisting of a double layer of thin slats of oak wood, between which a weave of jute/linen singel bands is stretched (glued). On the daybed lie a mattress and a bolster pillow.
