Church chair of walnut

Church chair of rosewood. The chair is folding, has an upholstered seat and rests on trestles. The trestles are straight S-shaped, connected by pins with copper caps. The back has three slats; the middle and upper slats have five arches on their undersides, resting on turned ebony balusters. Between the balusters are ebony vases. The upper slat is crowned by two ebony balls and decorated with cock's heads, a rosette and an acanthus leaf.
