About this work

Covered beaker, hollow, baluster stem with two four-lobed knops. On the lid, a large cut ship, the Lion of the States General between two anchors and a crowned woman on the clouds holding a ship in one hand and the orb in the other. Dove with an olive branch. Foot and lid with leafwork. The glass is diseased.
