About this work

Low foot spun from a wire. Inserted base. The stem, adorned with three rows of thorn buds, is blown as one piece with the curved cup. A smooth wire indicates the transition from the stem to the cup. The crowned coat of arms of Prince Maurice, surrounded by the Garter of the same order and the motto 'Honi soit qui mal y pense', is engraved on the cup. Around it are also depicted the coats of arms of the Seven Provinces, and thirteen oranges are scattered over the cup.
