About this work
Silver watch with silver dial, marked: Huysland. The movement marked inside: Hermans Huysland, Amsterdam. The whole enclosed in a chased silver case, depicting a whaler with three boats harpooning a whale, set in a border of Louis XV ornament with sea monsters. The outer case is silver covered with green shagreen. The glass of the outer case is missing.
