About this work

Round tobacco pot with a lid. The pot stands on three legs that are worked into the scalloped lower edge. The lid has a knob in the shape of a flower. Engraved lines run from the knob to the scalloped edge of the lid. The pot widens towards the bottom. The tobacco pot is marked: stk.= Amsterdam, jrl.= P (1774), mt.= Pieter van Somerwil II.
