On a plinth, transitioning into a hexagonal profiled base with arcades and niches, stands Mary on a crescent moon, her left knee bent. She carries on her right arm the half-reclining Christ Child, dressed in a shirt, of whom she holds a foot in her left hand. The child places his left hand on Mary's bosom and holds a fruit in the other. Behind the child's head is a nimbus. Mary's hair emerges from under the veil, which is edged with a pleated strip. Her dress, pleated at the waist, features an embroidered round neckline. The mantle, draped to the left and lined with fur, is gathered under her right arm. The child's shirt with turned-up sleeves also has embroidered hems.
