Canopy hat in one piece, made of yellow taffeta decorated with a yellow/red/beige colored satin ribbon, which is to be tied under the chin. Model: no separate crown and brim, but one piece. A core of coarse tulle on fine cotton and paper, over which a wide border of glazed cotton is gathered in the crown, which is otherwise unlined. The brim is lined with yellow taffeta and on both sides of the face decorated with four loops of the satin ribbon, between which are loops of silk tulle. The crown is flat. The entire hat is stiffened by means of six 'baleens' 1.7 cm wide, built up from a paper strip with a laitondraad on both sides, the whole wrapped in natural cotton. The taffeta is gathered under these wide tunnels. Around the hat, a satin ribbon (6.5 cm wide) is attached, which is laid in a flat bow on the left and right, and from which the ribbon continues to be fastened under the chin.
