About this work

In the flat of the dish, which has a central boss in the middle, stamped with die-stamps: a rosette built up of blown bubbles, a border of knorren, vine work with leaves and rosettes on a hatched background (in four parts), as well as an ornamental border (the motif repeated five times). Furthermore, a stamped ornament is applied on the rim of rosettes in the center and of cross-flowers along the edge. This border is wrapped around iron wire. At the back, a hanging ring was added at a later time. The central boss has become a small opening.
