About this work
Armchair of beechwood, upholstered and painted light green and gold. The diagonally placed S-shaped legs merge into the carved seat rails. Multiple parts bear pierced ornaments. The supports and hollowed armrests are straight S-shaped; the supports run continuously backwards, from the seat frame to the armrests which slope outward. The supported back frame is carved at the top and sides. Contour reinforced by profile bands with volutes. Marked on the inner back side.
