The Crowning with Thorns

Christ seated on a bench with bound wrists between two executioners, who press a long staff onto Christ's head with both hands, each supporting themselves with one knee on the bench. Christ, in a loincloth, wears a mantle hanging from one shoulder, tied with a band across the chest and draped over the left knee. The left executioner, with a moustache, wears a cap, a trunk hose and a shirt that has slipped from one shoulder; the other, seen from the back, has his mouth open and is dressed in a doublet with short decorative sleeves and a short skirt. Both wear boots.
