About this work

Mirror frame of walnut and ebony on a poplar frame, locally gilded, with a walnut sliding panel, which within a border with small circular hollows and incisions displays an oval. Around the slide, a frame with pierced turned knobs, set within a flat frame with a profiled edge and pierced flat decorations of oval form. The flat frame is veneered with root walnut and ebony. On the sliding panel, a coat of arms was painted, of which traces are still visible.
