About this work
Wall table of gilded oak. The corner-placed legs rest on hooves and consist, like the X-shaped cross, of volutes, decorated with acanthus leaves and bell chains; at the intersection a rosette in hexagon. The table rails show on a checkered background at the front a woman's head between acanthus leaves and flower branches, and on the side a palmette between acanthus leaves. The table has a red-veined marble top with a molded edge at the front and sides.
