About this work
Half-spherical cup on a foot, with a constriction in the middle of the wall and a C-shaped handle containing a closed circle. The cup is of white earthenware decorated with a black overprint. The outer wall has a pattern of a romantic landscape, the inner wall has a pattern of volutes and flowers, and in the center a landscape. The cup belongs to a set of which some pieces are marked "Wedgewood".
