About this work

Cap frill of bobbin lace composed of two sewn-together cap frills. The pattern features loose bouquets, some in baskets, on a ground of diamond-shaped meshes. Along the edges are wavy scrolls with flowers and leaves. The scalloped edges are trimmed with picots.
