About this work

In the flat of the dish, which has a center point in the middle, a representation of Adam and Eve in Paradise (Genesis 3,1-8) is punched using a stamp mold. The text of the motto reads: Adam und Eva. Around this scene, a punched ornament is applied with the motif of a stylized leaf. Rosettes are punched on the rim of the basin. The hanging ring at the back and the hole in the rim were added later.
