About this work
City jug with a tin lid. On the high, hollow, conical foot with a wide footring rests a baluster-shaped body with a straight upright rim, with bands attached at the widest point of the body, halfway up the neck and at the rim for decoration. The top is closed with a domed, round lid with a knob in the center. The lid runs via angular thumb rests and a single-hinge over into an elongated S-shaped handle.
