About this work

Tin jug of the weavers' guild. The foot is decorated with profiled bands. Above it stands the baluster-shaped jug with an inscription and vine motifs, and a superimposed medallion bearing a coat of arms. The top is closed with a domed lid with a knob. The simple thumb rest runs via a double-hinged joint into the decorated handle, which curls slightly outward at the bottom.
