About this work

Porcelain plate with a lobed rim, painted on the glaze in enamel colors and gold. On the flat surface, a river landscape with a person carrying a walking stick, a ruin, and a boat on the water. Below the landscape, rocailles and a garland. The rim is modeled in panels with braiding, with a scattered flower around each panel. Gold rim. Marked on the underside with a crowned double C and an A.
