About this work

Cup of porcelain with a cylindrical body and angular handle, painted on the glaze in enamel colors and gold. On the outer wall of the cup a gold cartouche with therein a personification of Abundance sitting in a chariot with the horn in her right hand. On the right a putto riding on a lion. The rim of the cartouche is decorated with a decoration in gold relief, which overflows into a wide band with vines and flower baskets. On the rim and above the foot a band with stylized plant motifs. Marked on the underside with the shield, the number 39 and year number 802.
