About this work

Porcelain cup with a cylindrical wall and C-shaped handle, painted on the glaze in blue and gold. The outer wall is divided into two bands. The lower band is filled with gold branches, within which an oval medallion is cut out with the inscription 'SOUVENIR D'UN AMI.'. Above, a band with gold leafy scrolls against a blue background. Gold rim and handle. Marked on the underside with 11.
