About this work
Vase of porcelain with a spreading foot and trumpet-shaped rim, painted on the glaze in cream and gold. The lower part of the outer wall is covered with a cream-colored glaze featuring engraved cartouches and medallions containing a landscape, musical instruments, and a Roman soldier. The upper part is covered in gold, engraved with a zigzag pattern and musical instruments. Two large applied biscuit garlands are cut out here. The foot is covered in gold.
