About this work
Fragment of a beer mug of stoneware with a cylindrical, slightly tapering body and C-shaped handle. Profiles under the rim and above the foot. Covered with a brown engobe. On the body, in relief, a printed and applied medallion with a richly decorated border. In the medallion, a woman playing a musical instrument with the date '1583'. The mug is a small variant of the 'schnelle'. Raeren.
